James McCue – Program Director

James has been working to help people with special needs for over 20 years. He served as an autism specialist for the Devereux Foundation, a residential facility and school for adults and children with developmental disabilities, where he acquired specialty training in therapeutic techniques for severely developmentally disabled individuals, including auditory integration therapy, neurofeedback training and facilitated communication, with emphasis in the following areas:
vocational rehabilitation and training;
sensory integration and physical therapy;
behavior management; and
independent living skills.
James then served as an educational assistant for the Santa Barbara County Education Office, specializing in communication, sensory integration and behavior management and has been working privately for individuals and families integrating his specialized skills in the home and educational environment while continuing his private massage and bodywork practice.
